Oliver Esmonde-White has been around the music scene since he fell in love with music, aged 16! He was a professional french horn player in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He decided to leave the full time performance stage to explore the business side of music. As the piano was the mainstay of the music industry at that time, he decided to apprentice with a master technician. He never left the piano field and has been exploring its multi facets ever since.
Oliver enjoys finding out about all kinds of things. Reading is a favorite pastime. Over the years he has studied gardening, beer making, wines , philosophy, and has a keen interest in following all kinds of technologies. Of course the history of pianos including the manufacturing is an ongoing interest! He finds travel, different cultures and people fascinating.
His natural curiosity, unique vision and desire to innovate are coupled with his desire to work with other piano technicians in this business.
